We did it!

Hi, Parents and Players

What a day Sunday at the Kent County Junior League Qualifiers in Rainham. CFX won a place in all three divisions of the KCJNL. We already have automatic entry as a top-five club for the U14 As.

Our U13s Yr 7 (U14Bs) were outstanding; they showed tenacity, determination and incredible skills. I'd like to applaud all the players and also acknowledge all our coaches at CFX for nurturing such excellent players ???

Thank you to Lauren, Daisy and Sarah for your work with the Year 7s this year; they delighted us with their performances yesterday.

I selected all 12 of our Yr7 double-up players to play, and everyone got to experience the thrill of playing county. All 12 will remain in the Wednesday group for 2024-2025. Congratulations to you all for this achievement.

Our U15s ( U16B), a joint team of U16 T1 and T2, secured a place for the first time in the U16 Development division of the KCJNL. This is a fantastic achievement, especially considering you played with just eight players all day. Congratulations to Lauren, who led the girls to the victory.

Our U16A pulled off the most impressive performances all day, winning their group but losing their first playoff match. You got another chance against Kent Club B and won the remaining place. I knew you could do it!

I couldn't be more proud of you, especially after missing out Saturday on a place at regionals to Beacons. You came back stronger and more determined than ever!

Thank you to Carol Beckford and Salena Miles, our umpires for the day, and to Nikki Norris for doubling up as umpire and coach support.

Warm wishes
Denise
